…”when we see something like that, we should try then to connect with who’s behind it. ……”
We had our first CE5 event of 2026 finally, this May 2nd. I’d hoped it would be nicely warmed up by then, as it had been recently in the days before. But instead, the timing fell on a short cold snap. Brrr… it was cold. Not like freezing. But it doesn’t have to be very cold to chill a person that is sitting outside not moving much for an hour or two.. Fortunately, people knew to dress warmly, and we had a good showing despite the cold.
As far as contact experiences the main thing for the evening seamed to be centered around what we call “flash bulbs”. These are short bursts of light often the size of stars but usually brighter also.
There was also some imaging captured by a thermal imaging device. This is something we’re still trying to understand better as I’ve never heard of a CE5 group using thermal imaging equipment at a CE5 event before. Hopefully we’ll be able to report more about this over time.
But there were I’d say half a dozen or more reports by folks seeing the flash bulbs. Some saw them. Some didn’t. The thing about flash bulbs is you really have to be watching for them and looking in the right place in the sky or you’ll miss them.
The point I’d like to make about this is: Knock, knock. Who’s there? These flash bulbs happen so fast, even if you see them, it’s easy to under appreciate what’s happening. You could think of the “flash” as the door. But behind the door is an extraterrestrial intelligence. Dr. Greer often comments that when we see something like that, we should try then to connect with who’s behind it. He suggests that we then invite them to come closer if it’s safe for all and the right thing for that time.
But brrrr… This night was so chilly for many I’m afraid the idea of going for an extended visit wasn’t on the minds of most folks in the circle.
I checked to see if our filmmakers present were able to record any of the events on camera, but nothing’s turned up so far. However, I am including a video of a nice persistent flashbulb event at one of our previous CE5 events.
Enjoy!
