\u00a0So\u2026 I and about 200 others from all over the US and around the world went on this weeklong Caribbean cruise with Dr. Greer along with about 3000 other folks. Crazy huge boat. We did CE5 under the stars for 4 nights on the very upper viewing deck.<\/p>

You know, I was married for a long time. \u00a0But I’m single these days and don\u2019t exactly relish the idea of going on distant vacations by myself. Vacations can actually be \u00a0kind of stressful, even when you’re with somebody let alone traveling by yourself. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>

So, to get my vacations in I look for a destination where there will be people I already know. The cruise was great then, since I already knew some of the people who would be there. All I had to do was get there and home again.<\/p>

Most people flew to Ft. Lauderdale where the Celebrity cruise ship embarked from. I actually drove there from North Carolina. In hindsight, maybe not a great idea.\u00a0 But I had reasons that I won\u2019t go into. \u00a0<\/p>

My impression was there were a lot of attendees that were actually doing CE5 for the first time (at least with a group anyway). And so, there was a lot of the hope of \u201cseeing something\u201d going on. Often when I would meet someone in the group, once they figured out that I\u2019m not brand new to this, the question would be something like \u201cSo have you seen anything?\u201d or \u201cWhat have you seen?\u201d<\/p>

My line of thinking has shifted away from that question over time to a different emphasis.\u00a0 Especially since I started CE5 Asheville and making it my thing to introduce new people to CE5, raising consciousness and developing \u00a0relationships with ETs.<\/p>

And as a result, it seems like the Universe goes out of its way to see that I’m freed up to carry out this work. More about this coming up.<\/p>

Dr. Greer let us know that this was his first time on a cruise (as it was for me also) and that this was kind of an experiment to see how it would go. The first night was quite windy and challenging to deal with.\u00a0 Still there was word of individuals or small groups having cool experiences either during the CE5 event or just during the course of their stay on the cruise. I myself didn\u2019t \u201csee anything\u201d at the CE5 events themselves until the last night at which time pretty much everyone did. More about that and some video a little later.<\/p>

My main experiences at this event (and at the last 2 large CE5 events I attended) seemed to focus more on making connections with people than on seeing things. It\u2019s like the ETs, the universe, something\u2026 sets up meetings for me with folks I need to talk to. It\u2019s pretty cool! and encouraging to think that I have a part to play in this grand universal plan.<\/p>

And at this event the first such happening took place on the 2nd<\/sup> full day at sea. By this time having finally gotten somewhat of a feel for where things were on this huge ship I headed for my planned breakfast buffet destination and sat down at a small 4-seater table to hang out some before diving into the endless selection of food.\u00a0 After a few seconds I thought to myself, \u201cI think I want to sit on the opposite side of this table.\u201d \u00a0My mind wasn’t offering any explanation but I moved to the other side and seconds later a lady walked up to me and asked, \u201cAre you here with the CE5 Contact group?\u201d I wasn\u2019t wearing my CE5 lanyard, and our group was actually quite small compared to how many people were onboard. So, this was strange.<\/p>

I said \u201cyes\u201d. She sat down and we started a conversation. It turns out she came by herself also, lives in a town not far from Asheville and was looking for a local CE5 group to attend. I feel pretty sure that we wouldn\u2019t have made the connection if I hadn\u2019t changed seats. In addition, I hadn\u2019t signed up for any of the shore excursions because I didn\u2019t know who I might get stuck with. So, it ended up we did a couple of the excursions together and more.\u00a0 It’s like somebody is watching out for me more than I would do for myself.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The next day, there were two folks of a group of 3 that introduced themselves to me. They explained that the 3rd\u00a0<\/sup>person of their group kept seeing me everywhere and thought it was strange. Strange enough that they started jokingly referring to me as \u201cWaldo\u201d. He\u2019s the character in the Where\u2019s Waldo picture books where Waldo can be found all over the place. Look it up if you aren\u2019t familiar with it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When they found out where I was from and that I coordinate an active CE5 group (CE5Asheville.com) they were surprised because the 3rd<\/sup> person of their group was another person from a small village very close to Asheville needing to hookup with a CE5 group. Considering that people came from all over the globe to attend this event I think it quite amazing that I was connecting with people right close by where I live. There were a couple more things like this that happened during the event. But I\u2019ll stop there to keep it short.<\/p>\n

Let me just say – Not everything that\u2019s amazing is a shiny object.<\/p>\n

Sometimes amazing things happen that go unrealized or not realized till later. Or things that you wanted to happen don\u2019t, but it all works out amazing in the end.<\/p>\n

Our third night on the upper deck for CE5 was the most challenging.  It was very windy, and most people (at Dr. Greer\u2019s invitation) gathered in small groups or whatever, wherever they chose that was sheltered from the wind. Dr. Greer and crew went up on the top deck and attempted to broadcast to the people joining us online. But a rain came along and they had to pack it up for the night.<\/p>\n

The 4th<\/sup> night turned out to be very nice.  The wind was quite calm, and the temperature was perfect. And we had an ET event that went on for about an hour. Many craft showing up in the sky, coming and going, for all to see. I was able to video one of the first things that showed up that was quite visible to all that were looking in the right direction. Dr. Greer comments on the video that if we didn’t have the moon in the sky and the lights from the ship that this craft would have appeared VERY bright in the sky.  At the tail end of the video notice that the attention suddenly shifts to looking the opposite direction which began an hour or so of the whole group viewing objects in the sky. So watch till the end of the video to see this happen.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m pretty sure I would have gotten more of that on video as well except I got distracted looking at something that I thought for a while was ET but was actually a technical aberration produced by my camera. Ugh! You really have to watch out for those things.<\/p>\n

You’ll find the video of that first craft at the bottom of this page with Dr. Greer’s interesting comments.  Toward the end of the video you can also see and hear the excitement in the group as we shift our attention in the other direction. <\/span><\/p>\n

After the cruise, on the way home driving north in Florida on the interstate my car decided to give up the ghost with a massive engine failure. It was clear that I’d have to have the car towed away for salvage. I\u2019ll spare you the details. But suffice to say that even though there were moments that were no fun and pretty stressful there seemed to be something guiding everything to work out safely and get me home. <\/p>\n

A few days before my trip to Florida I\u2019d had this thought out of the clear blue. It was \u201cMark, You really should have a nice car\u201d. I have this very large van that mainly sits around. And my car was getting old and used for work as well as pleasure. Not very impressive if I wanted to take someone out on the town. It turns out my daughter had just put her Mini Cooper up for sale at the same time.  But I hadn\u2019t made a connection between my desire for a nice newer car and my daughter\u2019s car until I went to meet my daughter at a restaurant for lunch. I noticed her car parked at the restaurant  and thought, \u201cOh, she\u2019s here already\u201d. So, I parked right behind her (or so I thought), and went in and looked around.  But strangely she wasn\u2019t anywhere to be found. She did show up a little later and parked right behind me. I pointed out how strange it was that there was another Mini Cooper in the parking lot the same color and style as hers. So now I had a Mini Cooper in front of me and my daughter\u2019s Mini behind me. <\/p>\n

The next day I was out doing my day job which involves ringing the doorbell at someone\u2019s house, being let in and (9 times out of 10), being confronted first by the family dog eager to bark at me or lick me to death. One or the other.  The homeowners usually try to get this part over as quick as possible or put the dog away somewhere. And honestly, they never introduce the dog to me by name.  But this time was different. The door opened. We exchange greetings.  And there was this cute little furry fellow at the door.  A \u201cmini\u201d dog you’d have to say. She puts her hand out towards her dog and says, \u201cThis is Cooper\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I thought I was going to fall over.\u00a0 I\u2019ve never met a dog in my whole life by the name of \u201cCooper\u201d. \u00a0And I’ve been around for a while. \u00a0If my eyes have ever seen a dog named \u201cCooper\u201d it’s name was certainly unknown to me and certainly not introduced to me by name and certainly not the day after I was parked in between 2 Mini Coopers at a restaurant.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

By the time I had gotten home from my CE5 adventure (minus the car of course) all the paper work had been figured out so I could take home my new cool-looking Mini Cooper.\u00a0<\/p>

I consider all these events, the car, the cruise, CE5, timely meetings with people on the boat all part of my Amazing CE5 Cruise adventure. Once again it goes to show that not everything that\u2019s amazing is shiny. Of course we had some of that too, thanks to the ETs.
